The Elder Statesman for Frans Boone Store
We ordered this 100% cashmere crewneck made in LA in several colors, like a made to order pair of shoes. So every style is pretty unique for our store. . Based on our experience, love for colors and instore democracy, we have a special "sunset" stripe make up made only for us. Again this stripe inspired the colors for the ribbed crew here, that comes in Maroon, Kelly Green and Medium Grey.
Made in the best Peruvean cashmere available, spun and knitted in Los Angeles in their own workshop behind their store. Really no Italian Cashmere brand can beat these guys, not even walk in their shadow as it's so different and cool.
100% cashmere
Made in USA

The Elder Statesman, is a Los Angeles based luxury lifestyle label founded in 2007 by Greg Chait.based company that brings sweats (and a lot more) in all colors of the rainbow, sometimes serious, but most of them are a bit "twisted" touching Art.
To me, this kind of pieces are not only "a sweater", they are more, i just want one to have, look at it, wear it, but also keep it. For life. Like a piece of art in your wardrobe instead hanging on the wall (however on a buste in an empty room it could be very nice too)
So we decided to pick some when they started to deliver overseas and here is our "Elder Statesman" dept.
What others say:
"Greg Chait, the brilliant mastermind behind L.A.-based knitwear brand The Elder Statesman, has made creating the coolest cashmere sweaters, throws, hats, pillows, and much, much more his stock-in-trade and this water color-esque intarsia cashmere sweater doesn’t deviate from that. It’s an ultimate luxury piece that doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is an approach to menswear we can always appreciate." — Jim Moore, GQ creative director
